Cookie policy
Last updated 17 August 2026
Short list. No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, no consent banner because there is nothing here to consent to except the embed you choose to load.
Sign-in session
Our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser, and a matching cookie, so you stay signed in between pages. It is required for the site to know who you are. Signing out removes it.
Session id for analytics
A random id is held in your browser's session storage and cleared when you close the tab. It groups your own events together so we can tell one visit from two. It is not a cookie, it contains no personal data, and it is never matched to your identity.
UTM tags
If you arrive from a link with UTM parameters, those tags are kept in session storage for the visit so we know which link brought you. They are discarded with the session.
Small preferences
A few things are remembered locally to stop the site repeating itself: which achievement unlocks you have already seen, and whether you have used a merch link before. These stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
Twitch
The Twitch player and chat are third-party embeds. The player does not load until you press play. Once loaded, Twitch sets its own cookies under its own policy and we cannot read them. Not loading the player means no Twitch cookies are set.
Outbound shops
Fourthwall and Ko-fi set their own cookies once you land on their sites. Those are covered by their policies, not this one.
Turning things off
Blocking cookies in your browser will break sign-in and nothing else. Clearing site data removes everything listed above. See the privacy policy for what happens to the data itself.
